​Eduard Petlenkov has defended his PhD in 2007 on the topic of Neural Networks based control of complex nonlinear systems. He is currently a tenured Full Professor with the Department of Computer Systems, Tallinn University of Technology, and the Head of the Centre for Intelligent Systems. His research interests include the domain of intelligent control, modeling and analysis of complex systems, digital twins, energy informatics and smart energy efficient buildings.
