This two-day summer school offers an intensive exploration of energy communities and distributed energy resources, emphasizing the digital tools and collaborative models that enable local energy generation, sharing, and optimization. Through a combination of hands-on workshops and expert-led lectures, participants will gain practical skills in energy system simulation, data analytics, and community-based sustainable energy planning.

Thanks to sponsorship from Nordic Energy Research, participation in the summer school is free of charge for all admitted PhD students. The sponsorship also covers catering during the two-day program, including daily morning and afternoon tea, and lunch.

This program offers 2 ECTS credits and is designed to enhance the academic and professional development of PhD researchers. Participants will receive a certificate of participation upon successful completion of the program.
